Are You Sales Waltzing with Your Partner?

Are You Sales Waltzing with Your Partner? by Elinor Stutz

Many of us were raised with the notion, If you want good help, do it yourself. However, for entrepreneurs that advice is severely lacking. Following this route is based upon narrow thinking, will require longer work hours, and quite possibly will result in missed opportunity.

The quickest route to reaching more people, a better qualified audience and bringing in more sales is to partner with those who complement your business. As long as your vision, business integrity and level of ethics are in sync, you will derive benefit from partnering.

Key elements for partnering:
Honest communication
Question rather than assume
Agreement upfront to work out issues that could otherwise cause a separation

Before taking a partner, seriously consider the business owners you know whose business complements yours, whether their database is similar in nature but with a different reach, and from who you can learn new techniques. This is what we call in sales a win-win. Everyone learns andeveryone has something to gain.

Meet with a few potential partners to find the one or few with whom you would most enjoy working. Arrange a trial program such as a podcast or tele-class to test if you will work well together. It will also be wise to pull together a legal document stating your purpose, describe your plan for working together, and how you will divide up the expenses and income.

Be as specific as possible and look into the future of what might be. Think big and work backwards to work out your agreement. You may also consider weekly communication to make certain your goals and tasks are in alignment and being taken care of; meet in person monthly to enjoy the company of each other and brainstorm new ideas. The side effect of doing this is it will put enthusiasm into your waltz.

My Story:
The notion of partnering is new for me. I developed my business by myself except for where I read books to learn from others and occasionally hired a coach to get me to the next level. As my confidence and database grew, I began to find others whose business could provide value-added information to what Smooth Sale has to offer.

As a salesperson first, value-add is exactly what I always offered my corporate clientele and completed very large sales. Returning to my roots, I can now offer my clientele another type of value-add service by virtue of partnering with several individuals on a variety of projects.

The combined-effort projects include tele-classes, webinars and workshops and they are being produced at a far quicker rate than if we were each to go it alone. This makes for a smooth sale.

Harris Ranch breaks up long I-5 CA drive

Harris Ranch breaks up long I-5 CA drive by Cary Ordway

Cruising by those cattle near Coalinga on Interstate 5, you probably didn't even realize that California's famous In-N-Out burgers get their start right there in those feed lots.

That's because the famous California-based burger chain uses the high-quality beef produced by Harris Ranch, which is really much more than a feedlot. Drive on down the interstate a piece and you come to an island of hospitality that features a resort-style inn, four restaurants and various tourist services all operated by Harris Ranch.

Just about equidistant from Los Angeles and San Francisco — three hours each way — The word oasis is apt for Harris Ranch; as you're driving along the interstate it seems to come up out of nowhere. If you've drived north and south along Interstate 5, you know that there are hours of boredom driving through the San Joaquin Valley. A few service station-and-fastfood stops appear, but none like the one at Harris Ranch.

Drive into the parking lot at Harris Ranch and what you might have thought was just another freeway-side motel is actually a resort like you would find in Palm Springs or some other major tourist destination. The Spanish stucco buildings surround a dramatic Olympic-size swimming pool. Add some palm trees and resort-style landscaping and, voila, this becomes much more than an overnight rest on your way down the freeway.

We've gone past Harris Ranch many times, but our curiosity — and a need to break up the drive from Northern to Southern California — convinced us it was time to spend the night at the "ranch." It was a Sunday night and we found the inn filled to much less than capacity. Consequently, we were swimming in that huge pool all by ourselves with only one or two couples poolside at any given time.

Our over-sized room was on the third floor offering a view of the agricultural lands that seem to stretch forever in the San Joaquin Valley. The room was not a motel room — it was a resort-style room with many added amenities and, in fact, enough space to place two reclining chairs near the television. The beds were big, soft and comfy and yet another tell-tale sign was the fluffy resort-style bathrobes. This was proving to be much more than a stop-over; it was a destination all unto itself.

That's why many California families find Harris Ranch an ideal location to meet up with relatives from the far northern and southern parts of the state. It's a big state so, depending on where you and your relatives live, you can each eliminate hours of driving and pamper yourself while you visit with each other in a resort setting.

One big benefit of spending time at Harris Ranch is that you can settle in and enjoy one of the best beef dinners you'll ever experience -- with service to match. The Harris Ranch Steakhouse is a spot to rival even the most expensive steakhouses you see in the big cities. When the restaurant owner raises the cattle, the result is unbelievably tender beef cooked to perfection. Even if we don't have time to spend the night, we will make a point to return to the Steakhouse to sample more cuts of that tasty Harris Ranch beef.

The restaurant operation is indeed a major part of the Harris Ranch operations. According to Restaurants and Institution Magazine, Harris is ranked 57th in the nation among high volume, independently owned restaurants. It's the 6th highest in California, and it takes 400 employees to maintain all of the various Harris Ranch businesses.

The Harris Ranch story began long ago. The present owner is John Harris, whose father and grandfather were also farmers. In 1937, John's father moved farming operations to the San Joaquin Valley. When his father, Jack, died in 1981, John took over what was still a relatively small operation and turned it into a mult-million dollar enterprise that now includes seven different businesses that range from beef processing to raising 35 different farm commodities — everything from fruit to nuts. Harris even finds time to indulge his passion, raising thoroughbred horses.

At the heart of it all is the beef operation which, at any given time, can have between 60,000 and 120,000 cattle in the feedlots or being processed at a nearby facility. Harris Ranch USDA Choice natural beef is distributed throughout the country and is sold to major chains such as Costco, Albertson's, Safeway and, yes, In-N-Out. Another good reason to stop at Harris Ranch is that visitors can buy steaks to take or ship home — they come in ice packs to keep cold.

The restaurant began back in 1977, targeting nothing more than the local farmers who would come in and have coffee or a meal now and then. Because of its convenient location on Interstate 5, the restaurant became popular with travelers looking for a rest from a long drive. The 150-room inn was built in 1987 with the idea that the accommodations should be first-rate, but still casual. There's no valet parking, for example, but the lobby driveway looks just like one that would have valets. The rooms were designed by John Harris's wife, Carole, who included such features as Ralph Lauren fabrics for curtains and bedspreads.

The Harris Ranch complex today is like a mini-shopping center with shops that offer unique gifts and collectibles, spices and other goods. The bakery is a favorite for travelers who want to take home fresh-baked items all made from scratch. And of course there are the usual traveler services such as the gas station and Subway sandwich shop, and the not-so-usual facilities such as the Harris Ranch airport.

It all combines to make Harris Ranch much more than a beef processor, much more than a farming company, much more than a roadside inn or a restaurant. This little patch of ground along the freeway really is a small city and travel destination all its own — and home to millions of future In-N-Out burgers.

AT A GLANCE

WHERE: Harris Ranch is about 200 miles north of Los Angeles and 200 miles south of San Francisco on Interstate 5.

WHAT: Not just a rest stop for weary travelers, Harris Ranch has grown into a resort community with restaurants, shops and other services. The well-manicured grounds even attract many couples who decide to book the ranch for their wedding functions.

WHEN: Year-round, with blue-sky weather in the summer, a little cooler with some potential fog in the winter.

WHY: Harris Ranch is the perfect spot to break up a drive between Northern and Southern California. Sample the Steakhouse Restaurant and you'll see that Ruth's Chris and other famous steakhouses have nothing over the sizzling beef at this out-of-the-way restaurant. The inn is on a par with many resort-area properties.

HOW: For more information, call 800-942-2333 or visit www.harrisranch.com.

Using Flash Grid Navigation To Break The Mould

Using Flash Grid Navigation To Break The Mould by Pete Nisbet

Flash grid navigation will turn an ordinary looking website in to a triumph of modern design and navigation technology, that your visitors will be loathe to leave. Your stick rate will increase significantly, as your visitors enjoy navigating your site using this fantastic-looking navigation option.

If you're thinking about developing a website with images displayed, such as a photo gallery or thumbnail page, one of the things you really should consider is a form of interactive grid navigation using Flash. There's no doubt that if you get in early and take advantage of this very new style of delivery and presentation you will make sure your website not only stands out from the rest, but doesn't suffer from the same drawbacks other gallery websites do.

Thanks to the fact that most people now have broadband internet access, and the fact that the majority of cameras people are using are now digital, it has never been easier to get your images on the web for people to see. Whether that might be your own personal images of friends and family, or a showcase for your photography company, a gallery says a lot - after all, a picture paints a thousand words, and it's unlikely that people are going to choose reading a thousand words compared to looking at a few pictures that do the job just as well.

In fact, whatever your site or business, a gallery can say a lot. If you're in the design or fashion business, images of rooms or outfits that you have produced can say a great deal to visitors who may be unfamiliar with what you offer. If you're a school, then images of the grounds, the classrooms and of some of the activities and resources available will help to give a much better and more positive impression than words alone.

But galleries that do not take the form of a grid navigation structure using Flash tend to suffer from the same common problem, and that is the usual dilemma of whether to go for quantity of thumbnails, or size. Because the issue is that if you publish dozens of thumbnails, in order to fit them on the page you need to reduce them to a very small size, in which case, they're hardly recognisable and therefore of very little interest. On the other hand, if you include thumbnails that are suitably large, then you're limited to how many you can actually fit on a page, and so your range is not as enticing.

The other issue that you face is that once a visitor clicks on one of these thumbnails, they are taken away from the thumbnail gallery and to a page where the one picture they've selected is displayed. If the picture they've chosen is very appealing and exactly the sort of thing they're after, then you're in luck, and they may go back to the thumbnail gallery and choose another image. However, if the image isn't quite what they're after, then they may well simply close the page and go somewhere else; you've just lost a potential customer due to poor site structure.

Had you used a Flash grid navigation system then the chances are very small that this would have happened, and you are far more likely to have retained your potential customer for longer - perhaps long enough to tempt them to place an order.

So how does a grid navigation system work, or rather, what does it look like for the visitor, and how does that differ from a normal thumbnail gallery? To begin with the web page will look very much like any other gallery of thumbnails, although these needn't be in a traditional grid formation, but could be stacked in a pyramid or other shape. The images can be of good quality, and not too small - a good balance between quantity and size.

The difference between standard thumbnail galleries and a Flash based grid navigation occurs when the visitor clicks a thumbnail. Rather than being transferred away from the gallery, instead the image that they clicked on grows larger in a smooth, animated and dynamic way, simultaneously pushing all of the other images away, reducing the size of them to fit the image clicked on.

By then clicking on the image that has been enlarged, it reduces back down to its original thumbnail size, returning to its position in the grid, and allowing all of the other images to increase back to their original size and realign themselves within the original grid. This dynamic arrangement creates an interactive experience which not only keeps the visitor in the gallery section, rather than hiding all unselected pictures, but provides them with a surprise that encourages them to explore this interactive function, meaning they're far more likely to see more of the images in the gallery than they might otherwise have done,

In other words, incorporating a Flash grid navigation system for your gallery keeps visitors on your gallery page, rather than sending them off to other pages that only show a single image, and provide an experience which will intrigue them and encourage a more active interest in your page, and potentially, an increase in orders placed.

The Beatles Best Psychedelic Songs

The Beatles Best Psychedelic Songs by Marvin J Markus

It's hard to think of a style of music that The Beatles did not try out during their short but incredibly productive career.

I'm the type of Beatles fan that appreciates all of their music but I do have do have a special appreciation for their more psychedelic songs. And that's what this article is all about, the best five psychedelic songs of The Beatles in no particular order.

1. "I Am The Walrus"

Without a doubt one of the all time great psychedelic masterpieces. Everything about this song from the bizarre lyrics to the imaginative chord changes to the amazing production makes it one of the greatest psychedelic songs not only by The Beatles but by any band, ever.

This is one of those songs that can be heard countless times without ever growing tired of it. I'm sure I've heard this song close to 1,000 times yet I still find it fresh. There's so many layers, so many little twists & turns that I still hear new things in the song even when I listen to it now.

2. "Strawberry Fields Forever"

I often look at "I Am The Walrus" & "Strawberry Fields Forever" as brothers of sorts. They both have so many amazing ideas and incredible production. While "Strawberry Fields Forever" is more of an introspective "acid" song, "I Am The Walrus" is a bit of a "freak out."

"Strawberry Fields Forever" is a song that would have been great even if it were played simply on an acoustic guitar but it was taken to an incredible level by the remarkable production and the imaginative arrangement.

3. "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds"

I almost didn't include this track because it's almost become a cliche in some ways. But in the end, the song is still great. The vocal effects on John Lennon's voice are great. Paul McCartney's bass is fantastic. And as usual the song's production is incredible.

4. "A Day In The Life"

The final track on Sgt Pepper's is usually thought of as a "psychedelic" song at least not like the first three songs I Listed are, but it very much is. The orchestral freak out is a truly insane psychedelic bit of music for one thing. Bit's definitely so much more than just that. I personally feel this is the greatest song of all time, psychedelic or not. It's musically deep and lyrically impressive. The arrangement is one of The Beatles many great musical achievements.

5. "Sun King"

This song reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon (which of course came out about 4 years after this track did on Abbey Road.) I sometimes wonder if David Gilmour, the guitarist of Pink Floyd, was influenced by this song. They surely heard it.

For the most part I am referring to the guitar tone.

The "ahh ahh" bits are very Beatles and are also very psychedelic.

Debt Consolidation Is Not A Debt Reduction Instrument

Debt Consolidation Is Not A Debt Reduction Instrument by Zulika van Heerden

Debt consolidation is basically what the term indicates, it is a process wherein your debts from various institutions and of various types are consolidated into one loan instrument. In other words, this is the act of combining all of your debts and loans into one debt or loan.

Same Balance, One Loan
It is obvious, therefore, that the main objective of debt consolidation is to make financial and debt management easier to do. The amount of debt or the total principal balance is generally not reduced upon consolidation. Only the number of debts and loans is reduced.

In other words, after you institute debt consolidation, you will end up having only one debt instead of several. Your balance on this single debt is, simply speaking, all of your various debts combined.

Thus, debt consolidation is not really a debt reduction instrument albeit some debt management professionals typically package debt consolidation with debt reduction moves, i.e. negotiation with the banks and financial institutions to which you owe money.

Through debt consolidation, you take the balances from all the loans to be consolidated then you add them all together to come up with your new principal.

Pay Up to Consolidate
In truth, the banks holding your notes are not going to let your loan papers go to another bank willingly. The only way the banks to which you owe money will let you go is if you pay your loan in full. How then is debt consolidation initiated?

First, you have to talk to a bank. This bank may be one you have already used before, or it may also be an entirely new institution. Talk to the loan officers at the bank and explain that you need to get a loan for debt consolidation purposes.

That is right. You need to apply for a new loan. Of course, if you already have a loan with that bank, it may be possible to request that they extend your credit so that you can transfer your other loans with other banks to the loan you already have with them. In that case, you will only need to transfer other loans to an existing loan and no new loan will have to be procured.

Once the bank agrees, it will release funds which you can use to pay off your existing loans. The bank can also mail the check or do electronic transfers to the other banks and thus pay off your other loans for you. All the funds they have released for your loans payment will be added up and the sum plus service charges if there are any will become your new consolidated loan balance.

Things To Do In New York City: The Best Of New York Sightseeing

Things To Do In New York City: The Best Of New York Sightseeing by Dakota Bressler

New York truly is the city that never sleeps. All day, everyday, there are hundreds of exciting things to do in New York City. A pumping social undercurrent combined with some of America's most recognizable tourist attractions, means that there's things to do in New York City to please everyone.

New York Sightseeing Tip #1: Central Park

One of the essential things to do in New York City is to spend some time exploring Central Park. With 840 acres of parklands, this is where locals come to escape the concrete jungle, catch up with friends, get fit, and indulge in some of the park's organized cultural activities. For the energetic tourist, Central Park is a sports haven. Bike riding, jogging, and rollerblading are great ways to explore the park's many tracks. A more adventurous way of exploring Central Park is on horse back. There are quite a few New York City tours that incorporate horse and cart tours around Central Park and beyond, making this experience one of the more romantic things to do in New York City.

Central Park's organized cultural activities make up some of the more refined things to do in New York City. Throughout the year, the park plays host to a variety of live music and theatre performances. In summer, join in a New York City tradition and watch the Shakespeare in the Park performances at the Delacorte Theater.

New York Sightseeing Tip #2: Statue Of Liberty

Beyond Central Park you'll find more essential things to do in New York City. One of the most famous New York City landmarks is the Statue of Liberty. Catch the Ferry to Liberty Island, and allow plenty of time to explore -- many Statue of Liberty tours can take up to 3 hours to complete. Often included in the Statue of Liberty ferry ticket is a trip to Ellis Island. If you can spare the time Ellis Island includes a very interesting Immigration Museum, which is dedicated to educating visitors about the immigration experience of those millions of immigrants from 1892 to 1954.

New York Sightseeing Tip#3: Metropolitan Museum Of Art

If your idea of the greatest things to do in New York City involves a museum experience, New York City is home to some of the world's best. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a true art-lover's heaven. Located on the Upper East Side of the city on Fifth Avenue, the museum's collections span the ages. The permanent collections housed in the museum include Egyptian Art, The Cloisters, Botticelli Paintings, and a vast collection of musical instruments. The sheer size of the museum can be daunting for some. If you are time impoverished, the museum runs volunteer-led highlights tours that walk visitors through the main attractions of the museum.

New York Sightseeing Tip #4: Madame Tussauds New York

For a good time, the greatly entertaining Madame Tussauds New York Wax Museum is one of the fantastically fun things to do in New York City. Originating in London in the 1800s, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is a truly hands-on, interactive experience that involves life-like wax models of famous people. Get up close and personal with stars like Usher, Jessica Simpson, and Paris Hilton and party 'till dawn in the VIP room; or play the damsel in distress in the Superman exhibit and take a flight over the Metropolis skyline.

If, after all that, you're still wanting more things to do in New York City, max-out the credit cards on Fifth Avenue, catch a show in Broadway, or catch up on some light reading in the New York Public Library.

Dakota Bressler is an author for Trusted Tours & Attractions, an online resource for discount tickets to the country's best sightseeing tours, attractions and museums. Their website features tickets to the San Diego Zoo to Madame Tussauds New York and everything in between.

Arthritis Early Symptoms May Seem Confusing And Incomplete

Arthritis Early Symptoms May Seem Confusing And Incomplete by Scott Goodman

There are over 100 different types of known arthritis and many will present symptoms that may be different in many people. However confusing the arthritis early symptoms may be, it is important to understand what they are in order to achieve early diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, there are several other ailments that may be comorbid with arthritis, making the separation of the symptoms more difficult. Specific tests for the different types of arthritis can often detect its presence and knowing the arthritis early symptoms and relating them to the doctor can ease its pain in the future.

While there currently is no known cure for all forms of arthritis, treatment methods have greatly improved over the past few years and dealing with the pain of arthritis has been made easier. However, there are some medications that offer side effects that mimic other ailments and should not be confused with arthritis early symptoms. Only a qualified physician and appropriate tests can determine if the arthritis early symptoms are caused by the disease, medications or other problems.

Joints stiffness and pain is probably one of the most recognized of the arthritis early symptoms, but if a person has been performing tough physical labor, they may misunderstand the source of the pain. Logically, if the joints are painful from physical exertion, the muscles should show the same effects of the activity. If only the joints hurt it could be one of the arthritis early symptoms.

Not All People Receive The Same Warning Message

As the different forms of arthritis can attack different people in diverse places, the arthritis early symptoms are often ignored. Even with the most common form of arthritis, osteoporosis symptoms are often passed off as suffering the effects of old age. However, this form of arthritis knows no age limit and can strike people at any age.

Those suffering arthritis early symptoms, regardless of age should seek a medical professionals opinion to rule out the ailment or possible suffer longer than necessary by not getting appropriate treatment as early as possible. Many new drugs have been introduced to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis, and in some cases slowing down the degeneration of the cartilage can ease many of the painful problems.

Since some forms of arthritis can affect organs and normal body functions, it is important to understand the arthritis early symptoms and react to them if they appear. Pain, stiffness and joint swelling may be some of the most common, but there are others that can afflict a patient without them knowing are in the first stages of the onset of arthritis.

Cultural Achievements Of Denmark

Cultural Achievements Of Denmark by Jack Devlin

Denmark has a rich cultural and intellectual heritage. The astronomical discoveries of Tycho Brahe (1546-1601), Ludwig A. Colding's (1815-1888) neglected articulation of the principle of conservation of energy, and the brilliant contributions to atomic physics of Niels Bohr (1885-1962) indicate the range of Danish scientific achievement. The fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen (1805-75), the philosophical essays of Søren Kierkegaard (1813-55), the short stories of Karen Blixen (penname Isak Dinesen, 1885-1962), the plays of playwright Ludvig Holberg (1684-1754), the authors of the modern breakthrough including Nobel laureate Henrik Pontoppidan and author Herman Bang and the dense, aphoristic poetry of Piet Hein (1905–1996), have earned international recognition, as have the symphonies of Carl Nielsen (1865-1931).

Danish applied art and industrial design have won awards for excellence. The name of Georg Jensen (1866-1935) is known worldwide for modern design in silver. Danish Porcelain Factory ("Royal Copenhagen") and Bing & Grøndahl, renowned for the quality of their porcelain and ceramics, export their products worldwide. Danish design is also a well-known brand, often associated with the world-famous designers and architects Børge Mogensen, Hans Wegner and Arne Jacobsen. And of course one should not forget that the architect who designed the iconic Sydney Opera House was a Dane - Jørn Utzon'

In recent years, Danish movies have attracted international attention, especially those associated with Dogme 95 wuch as the filmmaker Lars Von Trier. However the country has always had a strong tradition of movie making and in Carl Theodor Dreyer has produced one of the world's greatest film directors.

During the Christmas holidays(or Jul) paper cutting of Christmas ornaments is a very big family event. Spending hours around a table with the family cutting intricate designs into paper is a national holiday standard pastime.

In software engineering, Danes have made significant contributions through Bjarne Stroustrup (inventor of C++) and Anders Hejlsberg (creator of Turbo Pascal, Delphi and the C# programming language). The Dane Janus Friis was one of the driving forces behind the invention of Skype.

Visitors to Denmark will discover a wealth of cultural activity. The Royal Danish Ballet, an exceptional company, specializes in the work of the great Danish choreographer August Bournonville (1805-79). Danes have distinguished themselves as jazz musicians, and the Copenhagen Jazz Festival has acquired an international reputation. The modern pop and rock scene is not as well developed as that of, say, Sweden but has still produced a few bands of note (for example, The Raveonettes, Junior Senior and Mew). International collections of modern art enjoy unusually attractive settings at the Louisiana Museum north of Copenhagen and at the North Jutland Art Museum in Aalborg. The State Museum of Art and the Glyptotek, both in Copenhagen, contain treasures of Danish and international art. The Museum of Applied Art and Industrial Design in Copenhagen exhibits the best in Danish design.

Among today's Danish writers, probably the best-known to international readers is Peter Høeg (Smilla's Sense of Snow; Borderliners). Benny Andersen writes poems, short stories, and music. Poems by both writers have been translated into English by the Curbstone Press. Kirsten Thorup's Baby, winner of the 1980 Pegasus Prize, is printed in English by the University of Louisiana Press. The psychological thrillers of Anders Bodelsen also appear in English. Suzanne Brøgger and Vita Andersen focus largely on the changing roles of women in society. In music, Hans Abrahamsen and Per Nørgård are the two most famous living composers. Hans Abrahamsen's works have been performed by the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC.

Sexual equality is a high priority in Denmark. Danes are quite liberal and tolerant towards sexual minorities.

Copenhagen is a popular destination for lesbian and bisexual travellers. It has an active gay community and lots of nightlife options. The main gay and lesbian festival of the year is the Mermaid Pride parade, a big Mardi Gras-like bash that occurs on a Saturday in early August. There's also the Copenhagen Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, held each year in October. The LBL (Landsforeningen for Bøsser og Lesbiske, a national organisation for gay men, lesbians and bisexuals) was established in 1948, and in 1989 Denmark became the first country in Europe to offer gay partners most of the same legal rights as heterosexual couples. Adoption laws are liberal compared to other Western countries and public displays of affection between people of the same sex are unlikely to provoke ire. Lesbians wishing to have access to artificial insemination do not provoke the sort of scandals that can occur in other societies.

Foreign Currency Exchange Trading Psychology

Foreign Currency Exchange Trading Psychology by Andrew Daigle

Your Forex Trading Mind Set

Most of the people who engage in Forex trading lose. Indeed, the industry estimates that more traders lose than profit. And they lose for a reason. They have not properly prepared themselves with a Forex education and the proper mindset to be a successful trader. In the cold cruel world of Forex currency trading, you're on your own. It's you against the market. All over the Internet, you can find so called experts touting Forex trading systems with extraordinary sure win claims. If it was so easy, everyone would be a millionaire. The true winners are the ones who have taken the time and effort to carefully devise currency trading strategies that have been thoroughly tested beforehand to produce positive successful results.

Listen to Yourself

You are the only one that can make yourself successful. Everyone is trying to sell some kind of system to fools, who think they're going to get rich instantaneously. It just doesn't happen that way. You can use trading systems and tools to get successful results, but there is no such thing as a free ride. Only through hard work on your part will you be able to develop Forex trading strategies that produce the results that you desire. You should begin your education and training with Forex experts, while building your own skill set to ultimately create your Forex trading system. Forex trading is like any other business. To be a successful forex trader, you need to educate yourself. Great forex traders become better and better because they continue learning. This gives them the edge they need to stay on top of their game so they can go on and become even better traders.

Make Your Forex Trading System Rules

Is There Such a Thing as an Immune System Supplement?

Is There Such a Thing as an Immune System Supplement? by Craig Doyle

Many people wonder about the existence of an immune system supplement. Is there really such a supplement? Well, if you go to your health food store and start searching for an immune system supplement, you may be hard pressed to find one. Instead, you need to look towards research, and discover which products or substances have been proven to boost the immune system, which, in effect, could be considered as an immune system supplement.

A great deal of research has been conducted on the various supplements that are used in bodybuilding. Some of that research has yet to be conclusive, while other portions of that research have already given us conclusive proof regarding different factors of how supplements affect the human body, and bodybuilding in particular.

You would be amazed at the number of people who don't realize that the immune system plays a vital role in the process of bodybuilding. While light exercise actually strengthens the immune system, the harsh exercise that bodybuilders do can actually weaken it. Bodybuilders put a great deal of stress on their bodies, and in response, this stress weakens the immune system. So, naturally, as a bodybuilder, it is important to consider an immune system supplement to prevent this from happening.

In this research we have also learned that whey is important to bodybuilding, for numerous reasons. One of those reasons is that whey protein isolate has been proven to have a positive effect on the immune system. In fact, when choosing between a whey protein isolate and a soy protein isolate, they whey often wins because of its increased positive effect on the immune system.

This research was conducted on two groups, consisting of 30 people, with 15 in each group. One group was given 30 grams of whey protein isolate twice each day, and the other was given 30 grams of soy protein isolate twice a day. The test continued for twelve weeks.

What was learned in this study is that the group that was given the whey protein supplement had increased levels of glutathione stores. This is an indication that the immune system is strong, or stronger. On the other hand the group who had the soy protein isolate had lower levels of glutathione stores, indicating that their immune systems were actually weakened, or weaker. The study also concluded that the soy protein isolate group had a decrease in the T4 thyroid hormone. At the same time, however, the amount of body fat, cholesterol, and triglycerides remained about the same between the two groups.

What this tells us is that in some areas of our health and body function, there is no difference between using whey protein isolate and soy protein isolate, but when it comes to the immune system, and immune system supplements, whey protein isolate is definitely the way to go. So, instead of looking for an immune system supplement in your health food store, look for a good whey protein isolate.

Oscar Robertson: The Milwaukee Bucks' First Star

Oscar Robertson: The Milwaukee Bucks' First Star by Attila Jancsina

Oscar Robertson is the Milwaukee Bucks' first star player. Known as "The Big O", Robertson is a recipient of the MVP award in 14 professional seasons. Robertson is an inductee into the Basketball Hall of Fame and also one of the 50 greatest NBA players in history.

The Milwaukee Bucks is the NBA team representing the city of Milwaukee in Winconsin.

Robertson's Early Years

The NBA star was born to a poor family on November 24, 1983 in a segregated housing project in Indianapolis. Boys his age were into baseball but Robertson was not interested in the sport. Instead, he preferred to learn basketball. Because of their poverty, Robertson resorted to using tennis balls and rags which he tied together using a rubber band instead of a proper basketball. In place of a hoop, he shot these makeshift basketballs into a peach basket. With these improvised equipment, Robertson honed the skills that would later on propel him to stardom in the NBA.

School

In 1954, Robertson entered a segregated school that is exclusive for African-Americans, called the Crispus Attucks High School. Because of his love for basketball, he joined the high school basketball team in the state competition. The team had previously lost during the state quarterfinals to Milan, who would later on become state champions. However, with Robertson around, the team bounced back getting an excellent record of 31 wins and 1 loss in 1955 and won the state championship. This was the first time an all-black school ever won a state championship in Indianapolis.

The following season, Robertson and the Attucks won their second state championship. The team this time impressed the crowd with 31 wins with no losses at all. The team was also on the way to securing a state record of 45 straight victories. Because of his efforts -- he scored 24 points for every game during his senior year -- Robertson was awarded the title Indiana "Mr. Basketball" in 1955.

In 1956, Robertson graduated and entered the University of Cincinnati, eventually joining the university's basketball team. His skills had improved to the point that he scored 33.8 points per game on the average. Robertson's record was the third highest scoring in the history of college basketball.

For three years, Robertson won the national scoring title. In every year, he was named an All-American player and College Player of the Year. Robertson also set 14 NCAA and 19 school records during his stay in the University of Cincinnati. With him on board, the Cincinnati Bearcats had an overall record of 79 wins and 9 losses, as well as two appearances in the Final Four. However, he failed to lead the team into a championship despite his excellent record in high school. By the time he left college, Robertson was a leading NCAA scorer.

After college, Robertson joined the U.S. basketball team during the 1960 Summer Olympics. His team captain was Jerry West. Robertson and West, along with a few others, were regarded as the greatest collection of amateur basketball players. They were undefeated, and got the gold medal. Robertson and few others then made it to the NBA, where three of them became Hall-of-Famers.

NBA Years

Robertson's first professional team was the Cincinnati Royals (which would later on become the Sacramento Kings). While he was with the team, Robertson made a mark as a rookie by scoring 30.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.7 assists during his first year with the Royals. His performance led to an NBA rookie of the year award in the 1960-1961 season, and an election into the All-NBA First Team. He also appeared in an All-Star game, during which the West scored victory and Robertson made a record of 23 points, 14 assists and 9 rebounds. However, the Royals during the season never made it past the Western Division with a record of 33 wins and 46 losses.

During the next season (1961-1962), Robertson averaged 30.8 points, 11.4 assists and 12.5 rebounds for every game. He was the only player to do so. He also broke Bob Cousy's 715-assist record with his 899 assists.

Similar to his stay in the University of Cincinnati, Robertson failed to see a championship with the Royals until he left the team during a trade off in the 1970-1971 season draft. Traded for the Milwaukee Bucks' Flynn Robinson and Charlie Paulk, it was with the Bucks that Robertson saw his first championship in 1971. He also helped the Bucks get two division titles during the 1971-1972 and 1972-1973 seasons, and also assisted the team to reach the finals during the 1974 season. However, the team lost to the Bolton Celtics during the season.

The Oscar Robertson Suit

The Oscar Robertson suit is a suit filed by the NBA Player Association -- of which Robertson was president -- against the league in 1974. The suit basically was settled after six years, which resulted to a merger of the NBA and the ABA, and introduced the free agency status of players after their contracts expired.

A Guide To The World's Most Prestigious Designer Handbags

A Guide To The World's Most Prestigious Designer Handbags by Daniel Millions

As any girl will tell you, having this season's latest designer handbag can be the difference between looking good and feeling fantastic. Whether it is Gucci or Fendi, everyone has their own individual style and taste, but all designer handbags demonstrate a woman's elegance. If you are not sure which bag to choose or want to know at little bit more about the designer labels then this article is for you. It will briefly describe three of the most prestigious designer brands in the world, namely Prada, Gucci and Fendi.

Prada: If you own a Prada bag then you will know that it holds a certain status in society. The bag defines class and luxury and will be instantly noticeable when someone is seen with one. All handbags are made in-house by Prada and this has helped it to retain its exclusivity.

Mario Prada began making suitcases and handbags in 1913 in Milan. The original bags were bulky and made from walrus hide. In more recent times, Muiccia Prada, Mario's granddaughter has ensured that the brand has evolved in the modern era. Perhaps the most popular Prada bag is the Tote. This is a perfect bag for everyday use. It is designed to just be large enough to fit all the items a girl needs to carry around but retains the stylish look that you would expect from a Prada handbag.

Gucci: Guccio Gucci established the brand in the early 1920's in Italy. Very early on, Gucci began to be associated with quality and luxurious handbags. One of the classic innovations of a Gucci handbag is the bamboo handles which are still popular today.

If you own a Gucci handbag you will no doubt be aware of the celebrity attachment to the label. A Gucci handbag is still the fashion statement of the rich and famous with many contemporary celebrities often seen with one of them. They are not cheap and it is partly this exclusivity and symbolism of luxury that is Gucci's enduring appeal.

Fendi: A Fendi handbag is probably one of the most desired fashion accessories around. It's sleek, well-crafted designs are another favorite of the famous and wealthy. The label has long been associated with the innovative designs of its long-time creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

In recent years, the Fendi Baguette has been one of the most popular handbags on the market. Its classic design and short shoulder strap makes this appealing to many women. The name Baguette refers to the way that the bag is supposed to be held under the arm, much like a French baguette.

So as you can see, owning a designer handbag is something special and helps to define a woman's appearance. Unfortunately for most girls the price tag makes these fabulous fashion accessories out of reach. However, if you know where to look you can get a bargain. Perhaps the best way to get a designer handbag at a great price is to visit the shops at the end and start of a season.

Most department stores are obliged to offer last season's handbags at discounted prices in order to clear their stock. If you get there quickly you can grab a great bargain and be seen all over the city wearing a stylish Gucci or Prada handbag.

Your one stop shop for designer handbags such as prada handbags, Fendi handbags, Marc Jacobs handbags and more.

Biology Is Crucial Part Of Science

Biology Is Crucial Part Of Science by Alisha Dhamani

Biology is an intensely practical subject and both individual and group investigations are carried out, some being assessed for public examinations. The National Curriculum is broadly followed but with a pattern of progress which the department believes to be more logical, interesting and demanding. Biology is the fascinating study of life on Earth.

Come along with us, as we become microscopic and journey inside a cell, discover new types of life forms, and play biology games. Biology is rich in examples of science as a human endeavor, its historical perspectives, and the development of scientific understanding. As concepts are developed this strand can be interwoven to create an in-depth understanding.

Biology is the broadly based study of living organisms and has become an increasingly dynamic and wide-ranging discipline. It may be approached by focus on cell and molecular processes, development, organismal physiology and morphology, natural history, evolution, conservation, or ecology. Biology is essential and chemistry, physics or maths are most useful. Admissions officers may look sympathetically at other combinations if the grades are good.

Biochemical and microscopic testing is conducted to determine the type and possible origin of biological materials prior to DNA analysis. In addition, trace evidence is removed from the submitted items and can be forwarded to the Trace Section for further analysis. Biological systems also operate at many different spatial and temporal scales.

These range from the very small scales of biochemistry to the very large scales of ecology. Biology is the study of life and comprises all levels from the molecular to the global. In biology we study living organisms, their organisation and their functions.

Biochemistry is influenced by the external environment, by interaction with pathogens, and by other stimuli. Putting genomic and biochemical data together into quantitative and predictive models of biochemistry and physiology will be the work of a generation of computational biologists.

Biologists consider the existence of biological evolution to be a fact . It can be demonstrated today and the historical evidence for its occurrence in the past is overwhelming. Bioterrorism is therefore a real issue in synthetic biology, and perhaps the most important other than pure research to identify the elements of driving living systems.

Viruses cannot reproduce or express their genes without the help of a host. Viruses that kill their infected host cell are called virulent.

The DNA in these type of viruses is reproduced through the lytic cycle.

In the lytic cycle, the virus breaks open, or lyses, their host cell, resulting in the destruction of the host.

Human biology is an interdisciplinary academic field of biology, biological anthropology, and medicine which focuses on humans; it is closely related to primate biology, and a number of other fields. The human biology major was founded in 1970 at Stanford University.

Biodemography is a new branch of human (classical) demography concerned with understanding the complementary biological and demographic determinants of and interactions between the birth and death processes that shape individuals, cohorts and populations. The biological component brings human demography under the unifying theoretical umbrella of evolution, and the demographic component provides an analytical foundation for many of the principles upon which evolutionary theory rests including fitness, selection, structure, and change.

Whereas biodemographers are concerned with birth and death processes as they relate to populations in general and to humans in particular, population biologists specializing in life history theory are interested in these processes only insofar as they relate to fitness and evolution.

Escape From Fairway Bunkers

Escape From Fairway Bunkers by Max Johnson

To many amateur golfers, fairway bunkers are the most difficult challenges on a golf course. Relax, there is no reason fairway bunkers should ever become a disaster for you. Here is how to do it.

We need to simplify the process. Opposed to popular belief there is not a magic swing that is needed for a fairway bunker shot. Your first piece of business will be to get the golf ball out of the fairway bunker with out question. Catching the lip of the fairway bunker or hitting behind the golf ball, better known as "fat" are the only two ways this could happen.

If your golf ball is partially buried or in a fried egg lie, get your golf ball back to the fairway even if this means going sideways. Assuming your lie is clean, the first mistake is typically due to a lack of execution. It is imperative that the golf ball is struck before striking the sand. If you make a mistake in a fairway sand trap, the tendency needs to be hitting more of a thin golf shot or a shot lower on the clubface.

The second most common mistake from a fairway sand trap is because the player does not use the proper golf club to get over the lip of the fairway bunker. This is a BIG no-no, particularly if you are not playing all the way to the putting green. Hitting a golf shot, which remains in the bunker, is what will start the process of making a big number on that hole.

Check your lie as you enter the bunker. You can stay pretty aggressive if your golf ball does not have any sand behind the golf ball. Assuming you do not have to clear a high lip, you can use a long iron or even a wood while trying to play a long par four or a par five.

It takes simplifying the process to be able to hit a green in regulation from a fairway bunker. The target must be accessible. Many of the new golf course architects are using more and more bunkers and hazards around the putting surface to intimidate players. If you are attempting a golf shot to a guarded green, you must be able to have good contact with the back of the golf ball.

This will allow the golf ball to get up in the air to avoid the hazards guarding the green. Be aware of your current skills. If you are a mid to high handicapper, realistically this will be difficult for you to pull off. Understanding that, choose the proper place you want to play your next shot.

Why Young People are Assumed to be Bad Drivers

Why Young People are Assumed to be Bad Drivers by Amy Nutt

While some individuals pay no mind to seeing a teenager behind the wheel of a car, there are others who cringe at the site. As soon as they see the words "Student Driver" plastered on the car, they envision one more hazard on the road. This could be considered a type of stereotyping, but there is a reason in which these people feel this way. They have probably seen in the media and even in person a multiple vehicle accident caused by a teenage driver or an accident a teenager driver got into on their own.

However, there are also statistics that support the fact that teenage drivers tend to see more wrecks than older drivers and this usually has to do with the amount of experience of the driver. Then again, there are things nowadays that are distracting teenage drivers that used to not even exist. Amongst those things are cell phones. With cell phones teenagers are not only talking, but they are text messaging while driving. Yes, there are adults that do this as well, but the results can be devastating when mixing this type of activity with inexperience.

Boys VS Girls

Many insurance companies will have a higher premium for teenage male drivers than teenage girls. This is because the boys are more likely to take risks than the girls. Nevertheless, teenage drivers as a whole take more risks than they do their adult counterparts. It is simply in their nature and has caused some to question whether or not teenagers should be permitted to drive.

As an answer to the debates regarding when a teenager should and should not drive, various states have put rules into force that have either increased the legal driving age or required more criteria to be fulfilled before granting a driver's license. Of course, this goes for both the males and the females regardless of their degree of risk. The last thing that anyone wants to see is another young promising life killed in another terrible car accident.

Does this make them bad drivers?

Technically, none of this makes young people bad drivers. There are some exceptional young drivers on the road. This gives great reason for them not to be stereotyped just because they are you. Yes, the insurance premiums may be higher due to what the statistics tell the insurance companies, but there are some very competent young drivers on the road today.

One of the things that should be taken into consideration is the fact that they have recently completed driver education. Everything is fresh in their mind in regards to traffic rules that most adults forget over time. They have practiced their driving skills with a licensed instructor; therefore these teenage drivers can be the most competent drivers on the road.

When they first hit the road, they are not displaying the sloppy driving habits that they will possibly make when they get older. It is true that they are inexperienced, but the truth of the matter is the fact that the accidents we hear about tend to be the select few. What the media reports makes us feel that teenage drivers do not have an ounce of competency within their systems.

Even if the wreck is not their fault, the moment the word, "teen" comes out of the reporter's mouth, it is automatically assumed that they were at fault. Yes, it does happen, and yes, teenagers are known for risk. There have been measures put into place that allow them to hone their driving skills better than ever, but, unfortunately, the bad reputation has been there for a very long time. Just keep in mind that not every teenage driver is a bad driver and not every adult is a good driver.

French Open Tennis 2008 Review - The Amazing Story Just Told

French Open Tennis 2008 Review - The Amazing Story Just Told by David Horne

"Ivanovic fulfils grand slam destiny" and "Rafa the undisputed King of Roland Garros." These were headlines that could have been written before the tournament and so the 2008 French Open transpired. This year was probably as predictable as the French Open can be, with all the favourites reaching the semi's and the favourites winning the title.

Allez Justine! On the girls side the shock retirement of Justine Henin threw the draw wide open. Justine's beautiful clay court game had dominated the French Open for many years her form and comments leading up to the French suggested something was amiss, but retirement just before her favourite tournament seemed unthinkable.

After her superb 2007 season it seemed the lonely lifestyle of the women's tour was beginning to upset Henin and she becomes another young retiree of the circuit. Her game added flair to the women's tour and she will be sorely missed by lovers of the game.

Russia vs Serbia! Maria Sharapova stepped into the #1 ranking following Henin's retirement but the truth is that on clay she is not comfortable moving. Following two narrow victories she crashed out to fellow Russian and surprise finalist Dinara Safina. Like Sharapova, Serena Williams hoped to fill the void left by Henin but like Sharapova she isn't comfortable with the vagaries of the clay. Ultimately it was a battle between the Russians and Serbians as the draw reached the second week.

Semi finalists Kutznezova and Jankovic are both very fine players and Jankovic could easily have won the tournament if given some extra luck and a favourable draw. She is a fine competitor and seemed to fight injuries, fluctuating emotions and her opponents as she pushed Ivanovic to 3 sets in the semi final. She needs desperately to improve the penetration on her serve if she is to take her game to the next level and become a grand slam champion

Ivanovic was peerless all tournament and she seemed a more mature and composed player to the one who lost her nerve in last years French Final. While occasionally inconsistent, there is no doubting the superb quality of her ground strokes when in the groove. She is the new #1 and will now be hunted by several contenders for the coveted year end top ranking.

Ivanovic's forehand is elite and she made Jankovic pay for some weak 2nd serve, most notably on match point. She has a tendency to experience patches of high unforced errors, but this tournament she was mentally strong enough to get through these aberrations and steady her game. At the end of the semi she was going for her shots like champions do in close matches.

The Big 3! The big 3 men Federer, Nadal and Djokovic were all untroubled through to the semi finals, unlike the girls tour, these three appear clearly ahead of the rest of the field at this time. They three are unsurpassed all court players, equally strong on offence or defence, it is this that sets them apart from their competition. Ferrrer and Davedynko are both fantastic counter punchers but lack the attacking weapons while Blake and Roddick lack the defensive strength to cope under pressure against the top 3.

Despite the humiliation of the final, Federer is still a superb competitor and reached the final despite being well below his best all tournament. Whether he can regain his touch and win Wimbledon for a 6th time is questionable. To beat Nadal and Djokovic, even on his favourite court, he will need a surge of confidence and form in the next month. After Wimbledon he should take a long lay off, he seems to still be affected by the illness which struck him at the start of the year.

Djokovic is still player of the year winning on different surfaces at the Australian, Indian Wells and Rome. His game is so impressive, so intense from the baseline, but maintaining the level against Nadal over 5 sets on clay is almost impossible. He will be a chance at Wimbledon and should the favourite at the US at this stage.

The big 3 are all contenders for the end of year #1, it will be exciting to see it unfold.

The Greatest! Nadal has taken clay court tennis to an incredible level. His 2nd week opponents; Verdasco, Almagro, Djokovic and Federer are the very best clay court players in the world, yet they were all swept aside. You sensed a desperation in all of them, too scared to rally with Nadal, they resorted to playing low percentage shots to try and win points early.

The concerning thing for opponents is that Nadal is improving. His backhand, that was always more solid than spectacular, was superb during the French. Many times he swept hid double hander deep to the corner of the court to set up or win points. The backhand is becoming as damaging as the forehand, which is a very uncomfortable thought for opponents.

He has levelled Borg's record of 4 consecutive French Open's and must now be considered the great Swedes' equal on clay. The way he moves on clay and the vicious spin of his shots is extraordinary. While Tsonga showed Nadal is vulnerable on hard courts in Australia, no-one is close to Rafa at Roland Garros and he seems set to continue frustrating Federer's efforts at reaching a career grand slam and tennis immortality.

The Wildcards! The two wildcards in the semi final pack were Gael Monfils and Safina. Monfils announced himself as a talent by winning three junior grand slam events. His senior career has been plagued by injury and inconsistency, but supported by his home French crowd he produced the sublime tennis we have only seen in patches for almost two weeks.

Safina is a similar story, sister to the great Marat Safin, she has shown glimpses of great tennis, but reaching the final is her first major achievement. In defeating compatriots Sharapova, Dementiava and Kutznetzova she showed great mental resolve, previously this has been what she lacked. In two of those matches she found herself a set down and deep in trouble in the 2nd set, only to find a new level and crush her opponents in the 3rd set.

The packed European season moves to the grass courts and culminates at Wimbledon in June - July. Watch for Federer, the Williams Sisters and Sharapova to re-assert their authority. But the young guns will be determined to make their mark at the most prestigious of the grand slams. The grass seems to play slower every year, opening the tournament up to a wide variety of players

More About Hay Fever

More About Hay Fever by Tim Bock

One of the most common types of allergies is hay fever. This is when the body is allergic to pollen and is typically the worse during the summer months when the flowers are in bloom. However it can start during the spring when the trees start to show there buds.

Hay fever signs and symptoms include: headache, runny nose, itchy watery eyes, sneezing and a sore throat. If these symptoms become severe enough you should talk to your doctor. He may be able to recommend over-the-counter allergy medicine. If these don’t work, ask about getting a prescription.

In many cases people would rather avoid medication. The good news is that there are several natural hay fever remedies that are simple and easy to use. Most of these treatments revolve around avoidance. It may seem impossible to actually avoid pollen since it’s everywhere. However you would be surprised what can be done if you put your mind to it.

When inside, air filters can be a great way of filtering out unwanted pollutants from the air. Not only do they work against pollen but they’re also very effective if you’re allergic to dogs or cats. What Is Astronomy? - Astronomy 101

What Is Astronomy? - Astronomy 101 by Koz Huseyin

Since the dawn of time, men and women have looked up into the sky, looking for answers. Why are we here? Where are we? And what are those shinning lights in the night sky? Astronomy thus began, and it is the study of that beauty that we call the heavens.

Astronomy today is simply not looking up at the stars, finding new stars, and analyzing catalogued stars, it encompasses many different areas. For example some define astronomy as the study of the motions and natures of celestial bodies, while others will say that it is about studying the objects and the matter in space, while yet others define astronomy as the study of the Universe, which includes everything.

The study of astronomy has gone on since the dawn of time. Men and women wanted to know more and looking up with thought and wonder amazed people thousands of people as it does with us. The study of astronomy is science. And men and woman started spending more time studying what lay outside of the sphere of our Earth.

This study of astronomy has advanced over the years, whereas a thousand years ago there were no instruments that could give us a peak of what lay outside the Earth, like our planets. In fact for so much time men and woman believed that we were the centre of the Universe. However, as we have progressed we have found the Earth is round, and we are not the centre of the Universe, but on an arm in the Milky Way galaxy; one of many hundreds of billions of other galaxies.

Telescopes are used for actually viewing the heavens and celestial bodies. The term celestial bodies, means the stars, the galaxies, the planets and all objects in space. Optical telescopes however is a recent invention compared to how long man has looked up at the stars in wonder.

It was Galileo Galilee who made his own kind of telescope, and viewed Saturn, and said that Saturn looked like it had ears! And this happened only a few hundred years ago! Another major contributor to the telescope was Isaac Newton, who also was the first one to find gravity exists when an apple fell on his head!

Both Galileo and Newton made such an impact in the field of astronomy that both there original designs of the telescope are in use today! You can find these telescopes at many stores, though toy store telescopes will often have Galileo's version of the telescope. Albeit that the telescopes available today are much more sophisticated and advanced than Galileo's or Newton's.

The field of astronomy is simple amazing. It has transformed our view of our Universe. The study of astronomy did not come with ease. For a long time the repression of the facts about our place in the Universe was hidden. Many were even put to death because of there views in astronomy. These pioneers paved the way for us, and today we can look billions upon billions of light years away and see objects which would not be possible to physically visit in a lifetime.

Learn more about what is astronomy, and discover the power of owning your own meade telescope.

If You Spend More Than You Earn Then You Better Start Budgeting

If You Spend More Than You Earn Then You Better Start Budgeting by Gav Shannon

Knowing how to manage money can help you make smart choices. Your money will work harder for you. You'll be more likely to avoid traps that can undermine your ability to attain your financial goals. You'll be in a better position to pay off debt and build savings.

Calculate how much money you earn in a month after taxes. For this budget plan, use your net pay or take home pay. Include tips, supplementary income, side-jobs, investments etc. This is your income.

Figure out your expenses. The best way to do this is to save receipts for a month or even a couple weeks. Knowing how much per month you spend on groceries or gas makes the next part much easier. If you want to start writing your budget today, and don't have receipts, that's OK, it's just a bit more difficult.

Read and post messages on personal finance and budgeting topics with other people from around the world. Everything from saving money on groceries, to understanding your credit rating. This will get you some good tips on where you might be able to trim.

Break your budget up into some basic categories. You might want to organize your expenses into needs - such as your loan and electricity - and wants - such as clothing and entertainment.

List all your spending under each of these categories. Let's take Auto as an example: $300/month car payment, $100/month insurance, $250/month on gas, $50/month on maintenance, 10$/month on fees such as registration. So, your total Auto budget for the month would be $710/month. If you don't know the exact amounts you spend, try to make good estimates. The more accurate you are, the better chance your budget has of working.

After getting an overview of your monthly expenses, look for anything that you can cut down to help you save money. For example, if you always eat out at work, try bringing left over or home cooked meal. You can also bring sandwiches and drinks. This can save you an average of $200 per month if you estimate $10 of lunch per day.

Limit your movie watching to once or twice a month instead of four times a month. For a huge family this can be a lot of savings. Before going to the movies, eat first to cut down on food and drink expenses. Just buy drinks or bring your own if you can. You can cut down transportation fees such as fare, gasoline and toll fees if you participate in a carpool or ride sharing.

A simple budget can be written on a piece of a paper with a pencil, and optionally, a calculator. Such budgets can be organized in three-ring binders or a file cabinet. Simpler still thre are the pre-formatted household budgeting or bookkeeping forms that creates a budget by filling in the blanks. It is really easy to budget if you want to, but as most people don't follow thier own plan most are doomed to fail.

Language Software For Learning A New Language

Language Software For Learning A New Language by Charles White

Want to study different language in a bit of time? Want to speak it like it is your native tongue? Try any language software available on the market today. They do not prepare you to become a native speaker but rather to speak like a native speaker.

It is a fact that one of the easiest ways you can learn another language is by learning it on the computer with language software that lets you learn interactively and at your own pace. Not all language software are created alike, but the best ones on the market have a tracking feature that lets you monitor your progress.

With a self-paced language software, learning becomes a great experience and an entertaining one, unlike in a classroom type environment where you have to manage your pace to keep up with your classmates at the same time.

IN FAVOR OF THE SOFTWARE

Learning a new language may be tedious and hard, especially if it is an entirely different language (think American trying to learn Chinese). Really, the best way to get up to speed in the learning is to immerse yourself in the language - travel to that country or make friends with native speakers - but it can take up a lot of your money or time, or both.

Language software programs are the best language immersion programs to be developed in this very technologically advanced era. With these programs, you learn the language the manner you did when you were a child - through graphics. They don't bombard you with English translations of words. A picture is displayed and below it you'll see how that picture is called in a different language. Other languages can be absolutely learned whether that language is French, German, English, Chinese, Korean, and the like.

Language software an used nowadays not only in schools but also in companies where they teach their employees to learn a new language by giving them computerized language software rather than paying for a language tutor to teach them, which is costly and time-consuming. (And you know that several companies are too occupied with.)

Another benefit you can have with language immersion software is that you can follow the accent and the sound you hear so that you will be talking like you are a native speaker of the country. Speaking another language thus becomes as easy as one, two, three. Language immersion software programs feature native speakers pronouncing words and phrases. So what you hear is a pure accent, not the accent that comes as a result of learning another language apart from English.

Adapting this language software in a classroom-based instruction will need more equipment, like a sound system for individual microphones and a video projector. Reviewing the software requirements is necessary before purchasing the software. Select a software that is appropriate for the students or children, where it is a rather a learning experience and not being pressured by others. Try to study another language with a language immersion software. You'll be speaking another language in no time.

LANGUAGE SOFTWARE: All Educational Software furnishes fun and exciting educational software for learners of all ages. From school subjects, typing and foreign language instruction, the company covers all the software needed for your children's education as well as your own.
